Matthew formed maa in 1998. He was shortlisted for the RIBA Silver medal 1992. Prior to forming maa, Matthew worked for 4 years with BDP on projects such as Wimbledon new no.1 court and the Hampden Gurney School which was shortlisted for the prestigious Stirling Prize for Architecture. He was also commended and shortlisted in the Urban Splash competition in 1999 for 70 flats in Manchester. He is also a member of Kingston’s Design Review Panel. Matthew takes an overview of all maa project work and carries out detailed work on specific projects, including the new concept Asda on Sutton High Street and the prestigious Kingston Riverside development.
